MUMBAI: Technology-driven company Bar Code India (BCI) is going to deliver software solutions, primarily for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or warehouse management.

In an Interaction with ETInfra Ram Bhutani Senior Vice President of Business Operations said,”We are launching new ways of how software can be deployed. So it can be more modular, more customized, based on the latest versions that we’ve seen within the industry”.

“We will also be launching a completely refreshed identity before the end of the fiscal year, which is going to be accompanied by the launch of our rain to cloud RFID reader as well, which is going to be made in India and is going to be the first in its class, competing with the global technologies that we have within the hub in itself,” he continued.

Talking about the IoT Ram said, “We’ll be focusing on developing our own stack of IoT sensors as well, we will be launching the entire IoT sensors as well as the platform in the coming months.”

In addition to Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Internet of Things (IoT), RFID, and automation, BCI offers a wide range of software and hardware solutions.

“While we have already launched these, and we’ve seen a lot of traction from a lot of different sectors, the launch formula is planned in the next couple of months,” he added.

Furthermore, BCI is going to maintain its partnerships with some of the biggest companies, such as Cognex and SQL Technologies. According to an interaction, the company is working with them to introduce new technology to the market.

BCL will concentrate on warehousing in particular, as an integrated software hardware stack will enable those digital transformations. “So under software, we provide WMS or a warehouse management system, which is completely modular, configurable software that seamlessly integrates with the customers’ existing architecture, whether an enterprise resource planning or warehouse control system,” Bhutani further said.
